WOTA CEO, Maeda Spoke at the “130th Anniversary Special Talk Show” During Tokushima Prefectural Wakimachi High School’s Cultural Festival
On Saturday, September 5, 2026, WOTA Representative Director & CEO Maeda, participated in the “130th Anniversary Special Talk Show” held during the cultural festival at his alma mater, Tokushima Prefectural Wakimachi High School, to celebrate the school’s 130th anniversary.
The event brought together accomplished alumni from a range of fields to share their experiences and encourage students to think about their futures and the steps they can take today.
Under the theme “There’s More Than One Way to Shape Your Future,” Maeda joined fellow alumni Izumi Maruoka, a freelance broadcaster; Miho Takai, Mayor of Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture; and moderator Eiji Yasuoka, a freelance broadcaster formerly with Shikoku Broadcasting. The panelists discussed early turning points in their high school years, challenges they encountered throughout their careers and how they overcame them, and what it means to forge one’s own career path and vision for the future.
