WOTA participated as one of the selected companies for the “Viva Tech 2026 Exhibition Program” organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Startup Strategy Promotion Headquarters. WOTA showcased its solutions at the Tokyo Area (Zone Tokyo) within the “Japan Village.”
At this event, WOTA introduced its approach to structural solutions for water challenges against the backdrop of the global water crisis and growing water risks caused by climate change. WOTA shared its vision for the future of water infrastructure, highlighting the effectiveness of decentralized water recycling systems that complement traditional centralized infrastructure, and how combining both systems can create a resilient model.
The exhibition drew strong interest from international companies and general attendees, leading to productive discussions regarding the potential application of decentralized water infrastructure in Europe and possibilities for future collaboration.
WOTA will continue to address global water challenges through its initiatives both in Japan and overseas, aiming to realize a society where people around the world can access water with peace of mind.
