As the “small-scale,
decentralized water regeneration system”
spreads across society, we aim to accelerate its adoption
in as many countries and regions as possible—without delay.
To drive a structural solution to water challenges,
we introduce the demonstration trials and projects we are undertaking.

In large-scale disasters,
securing water for daily use becomes
a serious challenge.
To help solve this, WOTA is designing
an inter-municipal
wide-area
mutual-aid platform
through which local governments
can support one another
using water-regeneration systems.
We have fully launched JWAD
(Japan Water Association for Disaster),
the organization that will oversee and operate
this platform,
and are now working to put it into practice
and roll it out as a nationwide framework. -
Amid ongoing population decline
and the aging of water pipelines,
WOTA has established
the “Decentralized Water Regeneration System
Introduction Fund (Water 2040 Fund)”
to hand down sustainable
water infrastructure
to the next generation.
