Provision of bathing services in water outage areas following the heavy rain in Akita Prefecture beginning August 20, 2025 — Installation of the water-recirculating shower “WOTA BOX” in Semboku City

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the heavy rain disaster that occurred on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Due to the record-breaking rainfall, some areas in Akita Prefecture are continuing to experience water outages.

In response to a request from Semboku City, WOTA began providing access to showers using its water-recirculating system, “WOTA BOX,” starting on Friday, August 22.
