Exchange of Views with NATO Secretary General Rutte and Introduction of WOTA’s Initiatives

On Wednesday, April 9, Secretary General Mark Rutte of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) and his delegation visited Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. WOTA was invited to participate as one of Japan’s dual-use technology startups.

During the event, eight Japanese dual-use startups gathered to introduce their initiatives in a showcase-style exhibition and engaged in a roundtable discussion with the NATO delegation. Representing WOTA, Global External Affairs Director Kashy Samir Nait-Kaci presented the WOTA BOX, a water-regeneration shower system, and explained its critical role in emergency water supply during disasters and as a sustainable water infrastructure solution.
