WOTA’s products were featured in a report by the Cabinet Office (in charge of disaster prevention) titled “Situation of Evacuation Center Management in the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024” as an example of our contribution to evacuation center management.

On Monday, April 15, 2024, the third meeting of the “Verification Team for the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake*” was held with the participation of relevant government ministries and agencies, and the contribution of WOTA’s products to the operation of evacuation centers was highlighted as an example in the “Status of Evacuation Center Operations during the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake,” released by the Cabinet Office (in charge of disaster prevention). The report was published by the Cabinet Office (in charge of disaster prevention).

*: A meeting to gather and organize the experiences of staff members who responded to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024 regarding emergency disaster response after the disaster, including support for local governments, evacuation center management, and procurement of supplies and support.

Environmental improvement of evacuation centers (toilets)　
As part of our efforts to improve the toilet environment at evacuation centers, our “WOSH” water-circulating hand-washing stand used to wash hands after using the toilet, as well as our wrap-type portable toilets and toilet trailers, were featured in the report.
